Our inspiration and change

It all started with the president of Parfun transforming the factory immediately after the COVID-19 situation resolved to take responsibility for the world and people to have a better quality of life.

As one of the major textile manufacturers We want the textile industry to develop sustainably.
There is also a sustainability exhibition in Tokyo and Parfun will be participating.
We are creating spaces and creating ideas to provide unparalleled value
to customers and enable them to lead a more circular lifestyle.

Our values are the foundation of our culture

Mr. Ono [Brand Designer]

It all started with the president of "Parfun", who we had worked with before. But we have the opportunity to meet again after the coronavirus outbreak ends.

At that time I reported on their current status and talked about what had happened recently, and I heard that "Parfun" is currently transforming its factories at once to make them more sustainable. And in fact, they are developing sustainable textiles. There is also an exhibition about It's called Sustainability in Tokyo, and "Parfun" will be joining in. So I offered to work with them there. Including creating space and creating ideas. Received.

That's what I was doing at the time. at the same time, I think it's a sustainable structure. Company Philosophy And the way they go about sustainability is amazing. And I'm thinking of creating a brand that takes advantage of this. And I'm planning a project. I discussed with the president whether we could expand or not.

Our factory is located in Thailand and our office is also located in Tokyo. Therefore, we have good relations between Thailand and Japan. and because we work in Thailand Therefore, we give back to the Thai people as well. I spoke with the president about the idea of creating a project that would give back to society and leverage sustainability. We naturally started talking about creating a project or brand like that.
Then I thought of the idea for the brand "THINKING OF YOU" and that inspired me to start working on it now.

Mr. Ono experience and personality have been put into the brand.

I think our greatest strength is of course that we have a factory. In summary, I think our greatest strength is that we can manage the entire product management flow from the factory to the customer continuously.

Because we can talk directly to factories, we can also talk directly to engineers when developing materials and fabrics for brands that only focus on sustainability, so we can assess things quickly and in detail. I think this will be the brand's biggest feature.

It is also called a factory brand because it has a factory and ships it to customers. Of course, factory brands have no middlemen or middlemen, so we can reduce costs and provide products to customers at surprisingly reasonable prices. I think this is the advantage of "THINKING OF YOU".

Which product is Mr.ono favorite? 24SS.

This time I'm releasing a cardigan and trousers/wool that look so close to the skin that they'll be worn as outfits.

It is a cotton t-shirt that is the result of the open-ended nature of the cotton t-shirt and the belief that it is the result of the t-shirt that stands out and the performance that results from the t-shirt thinking. I believe personal I want to wear it with a cardigan and pants for a certain look.

Why should customers try products from the brand "THINKING OF YOU"

There are many different brands, but one of the themes with this brand that we are working on is sustainability. If you can make people a little more aware or aware of the sustainability aspect of this brand when they shop then it's an opportunity for them to learn about sustainability through this brand. I think it would be good if I got it.

Also, as I think I've said many times before, It is directly connected to the factory. In short, it is called a factory brand because it has a factory and ships to customers. Therefore, of course, a factory brand does not have gross margins or intervening sellers. which means They can reduce costs and provide products to customers at surprisingly reasonable prices. I think this is the merit of Thinking of You, or rather, it is. How we deal with customers These two points are creating opportunities for sustainability and being able to provide high-quality products at reasonable prices. So I hope everyone will appreciate these aspects.

About the fun that Mr. Ono puts into "THINKING OF YOU"

There are many playful things. But one thing that stands out is the name tag.

I think it's normal to sew the back of the neck like this. But I thought it would be more interesting to do something a little different, so I sewed the neck tag to the shoulder opening. However, I thought that part was quite interesting.

There is also a small bag. On a chest that doesn't have any meaning and I don't know if it works. But there's a part of me that's like, ``What's the use of it?'' I don't think so. But I think that's one point that makes it so cool. What I call fun is thinking about things like that.

There will be around 30 product numbers from now on, but beyond that, considering we're preparing for next season, we'll continue to include things that make us think, things that make us think. I feel like doing it.

This applies to products as well. But I think there will be other things like photography for them in the future as well. Even in a place like this, I like to use things that tickle people's faces and make them smile as a form of fun in my creations.

So that everyone can get to know more about brand designer.

Ono-Kensaku : My job title is art director. But I do a lot of things. on your own, such as managing a clothing brand and organizing various activities

Simply put, I went to study in England immediately after graduating from university. And at that time I thought that I would like to get a job that required my creativity. So I went to England.

After that, I came back to Japan. And my parents opened a clothing design company. And I started sketching the bag design pattern.

That's where I first encountered computers. And started doing what's called graphic design, like designing graphics for t-shirts.
I found this interesting and would like to know more about graphic design. So I went to San Francisco to study there for two years and then returned to Japan.

So after I returned to Japan I did a lot of work in the arts of graphic design. Especially in the fashion field I also do photography, create Lukebooks, and produce events at the same time.
